Question: How to setup restriction on Product Price and Add to Cart button?
Solution:
Product Price and Add to Cart buttons can be restricted to access only by members.
The work ethic of rules are-
If you want to show the Product Price and/or Add to Cart button only to the customers who subscribe for membership and hide it from non-subscriber. Follow the below steps to setup restriction:-
Step 1. Log in to the Shopify store admin area and go to Apps > AAA Membership Subscription
Step 2. Create a new plan or edit an existing plan
Step 3. Click on the Restrict Access tab then click on Add Rule
Step 4. Create the following rule to show the Product Price only to the customers who subscribe for a membership. and Save the settings.
Show -> Price
Step 5. Create the following rule to show the Add to Cart button only to the customers who subscribe for a membership. and Save the settings.
Show -> Add to Cart button
Note: To restrict Product Price and/or Add to Cart button requires the installation of code in liquid files. Refer to the 4th step for guidance in the article here – Setup membership app
Any additional sign-in page is not managed through the app. Subscribed customers are registered to the Shopify store and they can easily sign in using the basic Shopify sign-in page.
